After a certain age your "firsts" start to dwindle. This episode is chock full of firsts, a instructor and student pilot first, my first tsunami delay, a passenger grabbing a flight attendant around the neck and a pilot's creative use of the crash axe for a dirty job! (you'll just have to listen)

I\'ve just listened to episode #61, and as I listened and absorbed the theme
of \"Firsts\" I wondered whether you might just mention signing your own
books and rack that up as another recent \"first\".
That was a significant milestone for you - which was another reason I was
so delighted with your message inside the book.
Well, you knocked me into another flat spin by concluding the podcast with
part of my email - another first for me this time!
I am so pleased that my message and all the others that you are receiving
are giving you a lift.
You give us all a lift with your podcasts and the effort you go to in
bringing them together - so it is only fair that you get back some

I just found your podcast via the Amateur Traveler (thanks @chris2x). So...we have another first. This was the first episode that I listened to, and I\'ve enjoyed about a dozen more since then.
I loved the crash axe story! I was listening to the podcast through my earbuds after everyone had gone to bed, and started laughing heartily when you shared this one. I told the story to my hubby the next day, and he got a chuckle as well. I\'m sure I\'ll get him to start listening to podcasts soon...
I know I\'ve said this many times, but it must be said again...What a great episode! Very humourous...
