Episode 21

What is a Bellringer you ask?  A Bellringer is a type of airline passenger who rings and rings the flight attendant call bell... and can't associate the the action of pushing the button and the resulting ding!

We hear about alot of bellringers...some dingbat Flight Attendants... and at the end of the episode we hear a story that is a real "headbanger"!

my favorite bellringer-story happened on a flight to mumbay/india. as you probably know, the indian passengers love to push the chime and ask \\\"brrring me quick water.\\\" my local indian colleagues used to tell the guests that they did not need to push the chime. they said that there was a microphone over every seatrow (pointing on the loudspeaker) and that the passenger should just speak into it whatever he wanted. his wishes would be heard in the galley and brought him immediatly. we had several indian guests standing in their seatrow and speaking into the loudspeakers. well, and then they started to push the chime in order to tell us that the microphone was broken...

This podcast made me proud that I\'ve only had to push the flight attendent call button once (out of several hundred flights)! That was because stupid me left my coat in the terminal, and someone was nice enough to bring it onboard to be claimed. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for being so fabulously entertaining. I had some very monotonous work to do last week and listened to every single episode of your podcast in one day. I was so BUMMED when I\'d finally listened to all of them. What would have normally been a very boring day was one of the best I\'ve had in weeks!

You are a fabulously fun personality and a kindred spirit. I love to travel off the beaten path and hope to find someone to travel with someday that\'s as much fun and adventurous as you!

Thank you so much for keeping us entertained!
